Soldier's Notes
Private John Joseph Sorrells enlisted at the age of 25 on October 7, 1861 in Fairfield, Virginia. He mustered out on April 9, 1865 at Appomattox Court House, Virginia. He died on December 3, 1909 in Amherst County, Virginia.
