Private Michael H. Swing was a member of Company F, (The Cumberland Grays). He was born near Fairton, New Jersey, enlisted at Bridgeton, New Jersey in 1861 and served 3 years. He later moved to the Eastern Shore of Maryland in the 1880's where he resided until his death in 1933.

Private Charles H. Bacon, Company F, was killed in battle at Crampton's Pass, Maryland on Sepember. 14, 1862. He was survived by his wife and five children.
